I hope this is not one of the many pledges and promises given by SESB which in the end turns out to be just as empty and meaningless of words.
I had bought some fresh sea produce from Tuaran last Saturday afternoon and upon reaching home at Likas, there was already a power blackout which continued on for another 2 hours. Then sometime later after midnight, there was another power breakdown and which this time had dragged on until 9 a.m. the next morning.
By then, most of the sea produce was spoilt and had to be thrown away. The power breakdown had rendered them bangas (stale or spoilt) which is what SESB services should also be aptly referred to.
I am not asking for a 100% perfect services from them but if they can reduced significantly the frequent incidents of power blackout, say maybe 60%, is already a fair request from us the consumers.
Then again I have not been keeping track on the number of blackouts lately as I had given up counting after having lost count several times in the past.
