Having finished performing my Friday prayer yesterday at the Masjid Bandaraya and was making my way towards the exit, when much to my surprise I bumped into Datuk Mukhriz who also happened to be performing his prayer there.
There he was standing in front of me smiling and extending his hand for the obligatory handshake. I accepted his hand gladly and based on my quick appraisal, he strikes me as a very down to earth person unlike most of the other politicians I had the opportunity to meet before. Either that, or he is adept at concealing his true-self. Oh and one more thing that I noticed is his Cartier pen. Must be his favourite brand.
Then again it is not everyday that you get to meet a West Malaysian politician face to face. Wonder what he is doing here anyway. No news yet on the mainstream media about his visit or maybe I missed it.
Still it was nice to have the opportunity to meet him.
