Performed my Aidil Adha prayer at the Masjid Bandaraya in Likas today. Reached there quite early as I wanted to avoid the big rush that are normally seen on special day such as today where most the mosques or suraus will be packed full.
Everything went on smoothly right from the start until the finish but what caught my attention was that majority of the attendees today were 'outsiders' ( aka Philipinos, Indonesians and some Pakistanis).
Maybe the locals had chosen other mosques to perform their prayers this year. Anyway, it does feel really strange to hear more foreign language being spoken this year than the Malay language as I slowly made my way through the crowd towards my car.
